A really short, really important gym etiquette message. If you’ve got three sets of 12 or whatever on the same piece of equipment to do that’s fine but DON’T sit your butt on the equipment while you rest. For one it puts your nervous system to sleep – not good for lifting – and secondly it makes it that this multi-thousand dollar piece of equipment you’re using CAN’T be used, AT ALL, by anyone else – like me!
So do your set then at least GET UP off the equipment and stand. Stay close. That’s fine. And if someone needs to work in while you rest let them but then they too should get their butt up OFF the equipment as soon as their one set is done.
