If you’re a Lose It! or fitbit APP lover but still find you’re struggling to hit your weight goals consistently then I have good news. You can use the Lose It! or fitbit APP to log your foods, exercise and weight and we’ll transfer your data to the Leanness Lifestyle University (LLU) server so you can utilize my proven education, accountability, motivation and personal support program without having to duplicate your entries on my site!
Logging foods and tracking exercise and weight are important and proven strategies for consistent weight-loss for the weight-fighter. A “weight-fighter” as I call it is anyone, regardless of weight loss desired, who hasn’t consistently progressed toward his or her goals for more than one year. But logging foods, exercise and weight is only part of the solution.
What’s missing for the slick APP users is, as Paul Harvey used to say, “the rest of the story.” What’s the rest of the story?
- An comprehensive evidence-based program
- A commitment to the T-E-A-M approach (allocate enough T-ime, E-nergy, A-ffection and M-oney)
- Seek out and engage personal, professional and spiritual support as needed
LLU has all the logging software built in. We also have an APP for the i-Phone, i-Pad and Droid based phones. Beyond logging LLU picks up where the slick APPs leave off.
LLU is an evidence-based program. We teach and reinforce how to commit to a T-E-A-M approach and we satisfy at least one avenue of the professional support necessary for the struggling dieter. As a Certified Wellness Coach I understand the value of exercise but I’m trained and experienced best to help you manage the 23-hours in a day you aren’t exercising. Wellness Coaching is a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual discipline.
Even so additional professional support such as a Personal Trainer or Psychotherapist may be advantageous for some. If so we work alongside other professional support to create a synergy for maximum weight-loss success.
With all of this said I know there are millions of Lose It! and fitbit APP users who really like logging their foods, exercise and weight with these snazzy devices. Now you can use Lose It! or the fitbit APP right on your phone while engaging in LLU and especially the Lifestyle180 program! You’ll save time and frustration as we help you tie everything together and move you beyond diet and logging and through the real journey that is an inside-out transformation.
And with Lifestyle180 – with signups beginning January 28th at Noon central – if you already use and love the Lose It APP you won’t have to learn new software at LLU for doing these basic tasks to participate!
Technology can be a wonderful thing. In this case it is exactly that. Welcome all Lose It! and fitbit APP lovers! Keep using your favorite APP and participate in Lifestyle180 beginning February 6th.
If you’re a Lose It! or fitbit APP user jump into my Lifestyle180 weight-loss course. I guarantee your success and far more success than either going it alone or alone+LoseIt without any doubt whatsoever.
Hey Dave — how can I use Lose It and connect to my LLU site for updates? That is the only thing missing from your site is interface with iPhone/iPad. Thanks!
Debbie Long
PS — love, love LLU — I’ve had a ton of success and you’ve kept me on track. I hit what I thought was my original goal — and now I’m going for icing on the cake:)
Hi Debbie – I’m not 100% sure what you mean but as long as you have a valid membership at LLU you can use the Lose It app to log your basic foods, exercise and weight and it’ll transfer over once a day at 11:59pm pacific. This way we capture everything you might have logged on a given day. So it might be kind of important for everyone to know that if you log a food on Lose It don’t expect to see that food on LLU 10 seconds later. It won’t come over until basically the next day.
I do have an interface for iPhone and iPad with LLU. Go to your APP STORE on your iPhone and do a search for Leanness and you’ll find my APP there. It’s not quite as pretty as Lose It but it offers more overall functionality in many ways. Either way, Lose It or my APP I just want the logging part to be easy for my students. It’s an important part of the success equation but it’s still only about 33%. The 67% comes from education, accountability, motivation and personal support. That’s where LLU shines in my NOT so humble opinion. 🙂
