Lifestyle180 2013 is almost here. 2012 was the last year for naming our 20-week weight-loss course “Boot Camp.” We changed the name to Lifestyle180 after Boot Camp 15 to better represent the true inside-out transformation that occurs in not only the bodies of students but also their lives.
Signups begin January 28th, 2013 at Noon Central. This blog post with outstanding before and afters showcases the top students of Lifestyle180 2012 (formerly called Boot Camp) who were awarded $18,000 in prize money while also celebrating all of the graduates!
Nearly 70% of those who began on February 8th 2012 completed the 20-week online lifestyle-education for permanent weight-loss course! For 2013 my goal is to graduate 80%. Either percentage of finishers, for an intense 20-week weight-loss course, is unheard of.
Congratulations to all of the amazing students from all over the world who commenced into the next phase of their journey!
Grand Champion Male
The Grand Champion male winner was 47-year old Kelly Broad from North Carolina. Kelly lost 57 pounds in 20 weeks while transforming his life from the inside out. I’ll have more audio interviews and videos from Kelly very soon.

Grand Champion Female
On the female side we had Co-Grand Champions – Jennifer Leal and Wanda Cox. Jennifer Leal, 46, from California was the top percent-of-bodyweight student in all of Boot Camp 15. She lost 70 pounds in 20 weeks! She truly went from frumpy to fabulous. Click here to hear my success interview with Jennifer and hear what she felt about Lifestyle180 (Boot Camp 15) here
The other Co-Grand Champion female was 45-year old Wanda Cox from Massachusetts. Wanda lost over 40 pounds in Boot Camp 15 and has lost over 100 pounds since January of 2011 with Leanness Lifestyle!

1st Runner-Ups Male
Both the male and female sides had three-way ties for 1st Runner-Up. The judging was VERY tight. In no particular order the first person up is Rich Bergstrom from Illinois. Rich lost 43.6 pounds and was awarded 1st Runner-Up.
Next, we have Chris Plachno from Illinois. Chris lost 43 pounds and was awarded 1st Runner Up.
Next, we have Matt Moyer from Georgia. Matt lost 47.8 pounds and was awarded 1st Runner Up.
1st Runner Up Females
As it was on the male side the female side for 1st Runner Up was super tight too. First up in line in no particular order is Lori Culberson from Texas. Lori lost 25 pounds and more importantly figured out how, as an endurance athlete, to finally get her body looking the way she deserves. Lori learned you cannot outrun what you can possibly eat.

Next up is Kathe Moyer from Georgia and wife of 1st Runner-Up male Matt Moyer. Kathe lost 29.1 pounds and discovered she could regain the body she once had before having her first child.
Next up is Kelly Macdonald from Illinois. Kelly lost 41.6 pounds and regained her confidence and respect as a high-school teacher and distance-running-coach.
Three Reasons To Get On the Early-Bird Email
List for Lifestyle180 (formerly Boot Camp)
Make sure you are on the early-bird email list for the all-new Lifestyle180 course! Lifestyle180 more appropriately describes what we really do in these 20-week intensives. Like our other students, as a student of Lifestyle180 we’ll help you “Turn your body and your life around.” How do we do that? By delivering each student evidence-based lifestyle-education for permanent weight control. Instead of Boot Camp 16 we chose the far-more applicable Lifestyle180 name.
Here are three great reasons you should get on the list for the next Lifestyle180 course beginning February 6th 2013:
- You get a 24-hour headstart notification when it’s time to sign up. We are limiting the first Lifestyle180 class to a total of 180 students. We expect Lifestyle180 to sell out in less than 72 hours and spaces will truly be on a first-come first-served basis. Secure your spot or at least the opportunity to have a spot by getting on the early-bird email list!
- You save $350! Those who are on the early-bird list can sign up for Lifestyle180 for just $97 down and $97 a month for six months. Everyone else will have to pay $147 down and $147 a month for six months. Save money and get on the list just in case you are interested in January 2013!
- You, like the winners you see on this page, could win your share of $18,000 in cash while you literally turn your body and your life around. What would you do with several thousand dollars, a new outlook on life and a new body to boot?
To get on the early-bird list just enter your email in the box near the upper right of this page. Make sure after you do so that you confirm your email so you’re really on the list!
If I can be of service to you in your life- and body-transformation goals please feel free to send me an email at david@leannesslifestyle.com . I look forward to helping anyone wanting to turn their body and their life around.

Coach…. do we also need to be on the early bird sign up list if we did 14,, 15 and are now doing honors??? or will we just transition from honors to the first Lifestyle180 (formely BC)
To be sure make sure you’re on the early-bird list.
I think I’m already on the Early Bird list, but this is just in case I’m not!
BTW – congrats to Kelly and Jennifer! “Incredible” doesn’t even begin to describe what they’ve achieved for themselves…
Thank you Sam, and the really hard challenge has begun, the daily battle with the BEAST, the uncertainty of knowing that I can stay here. I look at my self everyday in the mirror not becasue I am in love with how I look….(ok I am a little in love with how I look…LOL) More to point I am checking to see if my abs are still there, Do I still look lean, are my arms looking bigger or smaller. Scared it will go away, knowing I have to keep putting in the work, keep making time to do the things that made me successful in BC15.
Coach painted an image for me of my BEAST sitting in the corner with several other BEASTS…maybe yours or Melissa’s. The three of them chuckling, my BEAST saying to the other two,” Watch this I’m gonna make him really hurt, he thinks he is smart and all I need to do is get him to think he is smart enough to avoid the bad stuff by eating good stuff that makes him crave bad stuff. It’s hillarious just watch”.ummm sweet no sugar add I love what it does to him….
Quite an image huh. I’m thinking probably pretty accurate, at least for me.
I can not speak highly enough of Coach Dave, his coaches and all of the amazing members!
