My no-travel, online, weight-loss Boot Camp has been underway since February 8th and I’m excited to report that 94% of the beginning 86 participants are still participating and have collectively lost 1005 pounds in five short weeks. Let me share with you please what the students have accomplished so far…
Phase 1 was two weeks of getting acquainted with the program and the Coaches (10 of them).
Phase 2 has been five intense weeks of weight loss using the science-based program I created called Leanness Lifestyle. Students used online tools for goal setting, weight tracking, exercise and nutrition tracking plus group and individual support venues to make sure every issue and question is answered.
The 81 students remaining have collectively lost 1005 pounds in five weeks! That’s a 12.4 pound average across all 81 students. The 1005 pounds were lost in five weeks.
Like any class there are a number of standouts so far.
Stephani R. from California lost 9.4% of her starting body weight and nearly 19 pounds after starting at 176.8 pounds!
Kelly B. (male) from SC lost 9.8% of his starting body weight and 21.8 pounds starting at just over 220 pounds!
Lucie C. from NH lost 10% of her starting body weight and 13.2 pounds after starting at just 132.4 pounds.
Todd J. from IA lost 7.8% of his starting body weight and 20.4 pounds after starting at just over 260 pounds.
People from every walk of life are in Boot Camp 15 and doing well. Doctors, teachers, nurses, policemen, firemen, correctional officers, stay-at-home Moms and every other vocation you can imagine.
The students have been taught nutrition and exercise science and strategies to implement the science into their real-world lives. They’ve also been taught better lifestyle-management strategies since we know, beyond all doubt, there is much more to weight loss than a ridiculous “calories in and calories out” formula. If it were that easy everyone would be lean.
As the students progress into Phase 3, another five-week intense weight-loss action phase, I’ll be setting their goals in collaboration with each student once again. I expect continued excellence from the group with amazing results continuing. There will be more nutrition, exercise and lifestyle-management education occurring and continued support from the nine assistant Coaches plus yours truly to round the number of Coaches out to 10.
